The Epson ColorWorks CW-C6500P is an 8 inch wide colour inkjet label printer with a built-in peeler that presents each finished label for immediate application. It shares the C6500A’s 5 inches per second print engine, 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, and UltraChrome DL pigment ink set, but replaces the auto cutter with peel-and-present. That makes the C6500P the right fit for production lines applying large-format labels to chemical drums, totes, large packaging, and any operation where labels go on as they print.

Important: pick Matte Black or Gloss Black before you order. Use the variation selector below to choose your ink configuration. The print head is configured for one or the other at first setup and the choice is permanent. Matte Black delivers a darker black on matte and uncoated label stocks but is not recommended for high-gloss media; Gloss Black works on the widest range of substrates including matte and gloss.

Peeler (P) or Auto Cutter (A)?

Pick the C6500P if labels are applied immediately at a packing or pack-out station and you want each label presented ready to use. Pick the C6500A if you batch labels for later application or run continuous variable-length jobs.

Why 8 inch over the 4 inch C6000P?

The 8 inch print head is required for chemical drum/tote labels, large prime packaging, large shipping labels, or multi-up imposition. If all your labels fit under 4 inches, the C6000P is smaller, lighter, and cheaper to run.

Does the peeler work with continuous label rolls?

No. The peeler mechanism requires die-cut labels on a release liner. For continuous (non-die-cut) media, use the auto-cutter C6500A instead.
