Matte inkjet labels are the standard choice for any application where scan reliability, legibility, and cost-effectiveness take priority over a premium gloss finish. The low-glare surface keeps barcode reads clean under variable lighting and makes small text easy to read on shelf or in a warehouse. Matte paper also accepts permanent-marker notation, which suits lot numbering, date coding, and handwritten shipping notes.
