Printhead compatibility

Replacement printheads for Primera LX series printers are stocked at Markham Labels. The LX900/RX900 Replacement Print Head is for Primera LX900 and RX900 models running pigment-based ink. The LX1000 and LX2000 Replacement Print Head Kit covers Primera’s higher-volume LX1000 and LX2000 models. Both are genuine Primera parts that restore factory print quality when installed correctly.

When to replace a printhead

Common signs that a printhead needs replacement include persistent colour banding or streaking that does not clear after multiple cleaning cycles, missing nozzles across a full colour channel, or visible physical damage to the printhead surface. Preventive replacement is also recommended after extended production use to maintain consistent label quality.
