Label applicators for semi-automatic and manual label application to flat surfaces, boxes, and round containers, available from Markham Labels. We stock desktop AP-series applicators alongside the BOTTLEMATE, BOXMATE, and VERSAMATE lines for operations that need faster, more consistent label placement than hand application.

Types of label applicators

Flat-surface applicators, including the AP360, AP362, AP380, AP550, and VERSAMATE-300, apply labels to flat or slightly curved product surfaces. Products are passed under or through the applicator and the label is wiped down as the item advances. BOXMATE applicators (BOXMATE-610, BOXMATE-612) are designed for applying labels to the tops or sides of boxes and cartons at packing stations. BOTTLEMATE applicators (available in 9″ and 15″ models, single and two-label configurations) wrap labels around cylindrical containers such as bottles, jars, and cans, with the two-label versions applying front and back labels in a single pass.

Choosing the right applicator

The key variables are container shape (flat vs round), label size, and whether front and back labels need to be applied simultaneously. For round containers, choose a BOTTLEMATE sized to your label height: the 9″ model suits smaller containers and labels up to 9″ in height, while the 15″ model handles taller containers. For flat-surface and box applications, the AP and BOXMATE series cover most standard label widths. All models in this category use standard 3″ core label rolls. Contact our team with your container dimensions and label size to confirm the right model.
